ACADIA NATIONAL PARK, Maine, We were so excited to visit this “National Park” island, which juts out into the Atlantic Ocean, just out of Bar Harbor, Maine. Unfortunately a thick fog hung over the Park, and we were unable to even glimpse the ocean! We did drive the 20 mile loop; the park is just chock full of lush forest and rock formations. After Acadia, we moved on up into Canada!
