Kathy and I are both Amateur Radio Operators (HAM's). Her call is N7RCT and I'm N7KUW. I've been
a ham for over 20 years, and Kathy's had her ticket just over 10 years. She's a Tech
and I'm an Extra. Most of our activity is on VHF and UHF, and in support of some type of local
function or activity we support (Search & Rescue, parades, Special Olympic games, etc.)

I do have a fully integrated dual band mobile radio (Kenwood TM-D700A) installed on the Goldwing.
The radio is in the trunk, the control head on the dash, push-to-talk on the left handlebar, and
audio (mic and speaker) fully integrated into the bike's audio system. Antenna is a Larsen NMO
mount dual band 2/70 mounted in the middle of the trunk rack (you can see it if you look close
at the picture on the main page).

Depending on which GPS I am running on the Goldwing, I also do APRS while mobile. My Garmin
GPSMap 276C can feed the radio with NMEA location data, but the Garmin Zumo does not have that
capability.

I also have a website based on my call sign:  N7KUW.com
