Another picture of the famous CAPE HATTERAS LIGHTHOUSE. After a delicious dinner of one half pound of steamed shrimp (yeah it was good!) we decided to enjoy the ride back to the motel, checking out the Atlantic Ocean; we discovered that the ocean is not visible from the road like the Pacific Ocean is on the West Coast; here the high grassy sand dunes and 3 and 4 story houses completely block out any trace of an ocean. We found this to be true almost all the way up the East Coast.
